A little about me
I wanted to be a journalist, but the reality of the profession and my personal priorities weren't quite aligned, so I started to look at other career options.
Then I discovered design. Or should I say, rediscovered it.
As a kid, I used to score extra time on the family computer by designing greeting cards for special occasions using bundled software. It was all clip art and cheesy fonts but those early experiments with limited tools taught me how to organize text and images into coherent visual spaces.
Outstanding design is a lot like investigative journalism. It requires research, exploration and discovery. It is about asking the right questions and communicating what was previously unknown.
